Runner’s World spoke with Rich about his thoughts on the best stretches for runners. Here is what Rich had to say:
Whatever level you are at in your running journey, it is simply a fact that you can only perform as well as your have recovered from your last session. Just hit a personal best in your 10k run but didn’t follow that up with any recovery work it is likely you will come crashing down to earth in your next training session with tired and tight limbs, equalling one step forward and two steps back.
